Streaming may be defined as the viewing of a media file (audio or
video) at the same time data is being downloaded to your computer. This
file may be broadcast over the Internet in a live or archived (on-demand)
manner. These files are available in a Windows and/or a Real media player format.
Media Stream
Media streams may reflect events that are live and 'in progress' or they may reflect events that have been previously recorded.
